This program combines running, strength and conditioning (S&C), and boxing skills workouts to help you maintain fitness, refine your skills, and reduce injury risk during the off-season. With a focus on aerobic and anaerobic conditioning, building strength and power, and sharpening fundamental boxing techniques, this program will re-energise you and prepare you mentally and physically for the upcoming season.

 

Program Overview:

  • Optimal Duration: 8 weeks
  • Frequency: 5 days per week
  • Focus Areas:
    • Running: Develop and maintain aerobic and anaerobic conditioning.
    • Strength & Conditioning (S&C): Build and maintain strength, power, and muscular endurance.
    • Boxing Skills: Retain and refine boxing technique, footwork, and timing.

 

Weekly Schedule:

  • Monday: Running (Interval Training) + Boxing Skills
  • Tuesday: Strength & Conditioning (Full Body)
  • Wednesday: Running (Tempo Runs) + Boxing Skills
  • Thursday: Strength & Conditioning (Full Body)
  • Friday: Running (Long Slow Distance) + Boxing Skills
  • Saturday: Active Recovery (Light Shadow Boxing, Mobility Drills, Stretching)
  • Sunday: Rest
